Our Story — Since 1980
ILANSIN is a gun care manufacturer, not a trading company. Our production line was established in 1980; the ILANSIN brand was registered in 1999. Everything we sell — kits, patches, cloths, mats, CLP, swabs, jags and bore snakes — is made in-house on lines that have run for over four decades.

| 1926 | SAAMI — the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute — is founded at the request of the US federal government to standardize cartridge, chamber and pressure specifications. Interchangeability becomes the industry norm. (Source: saami.org) |

| 1977–1979 | Break-Free develops CLP — cleaner, lubricant and preservative in one — and the US military adopts it under MIL-L-63460 (today MIL-PRF-63460). One-step maintenance becomes the military and civilian standard. (Source: Safariland / Break-Free) |
| 1980 | Our production line is established. From the start we make what the industry standardized: brass jags on the common 8-32 thread, pre-cut patches to SAAMI-recognized caliber sizes, and later CLP blended in-house — as an OEM supplier for global gun-care brands. |
| 1999 | The ILANSIN brand is registered. Nineteen years of OEM manufacturing goes on the shelf under our own name, with the same lines, tooling and QC. |
| Today | Six product families — kits, patches & wipes, cloths & mats, CLP & oils, swabs/jags/brushes, bore snakes — manufactured in-house and shipped to distributors, ranges and retailers worldwide, plus a US retail line on Amazon. |
